Completing the Run Exception PDF

The Run Exception PDF contains questions we’d like you to answer. There may be one, or many questions. The questions in any given document are relative to one encounter.

There are two ways to provide answers to these questions. You may need to use one or the other, or both.

The first method is based on questions that have simple answers to questions like: Please provide the loaded mileage for this encounter. In this case, you can enter your answers directly into the response sections under the question, and save your changes.

Sometimes, we will ask for supporting documentation, like a Physicians Certification Statement (PCS). In this case, it is necessary for you to attach an external document to the Run Exception PDF. This is very much like adding an attachment to an email. It’s a little more difficult than using email, but we’ll explain how to do this in the detail that follows.
